The Basics
Restored Paths in the beautiful town of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, is a substance abuse treatment facility that offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults and standard outpatient treatment for adults and adolescents. This facility provides group and individual therapy, DUI services and co-occurring disorder programs, with treatment modalities that are affordable and evidence based.
Treatment and Staff
Restored Paths provides individualized care to cater to each client’s specific needs. The preferred amount of time in the program is 12 weeks, but sometimes people move through faster than others. For the IOP there are three group sessions per week for two to three hours each, and two individual therapy sessions per month. The standard outpatient is a step down from IOP and offers two groups per week and one or two individual sessions monthly. The facility caters to both men and women, but also provides gender specific programming. Group sizes vary depending on the amount of clients at once. There can be sessions as small as two clients and some up to 10, each with one therapist running the meetings.
Treatment modalities can include CBT, DBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT). There is also relapse prevention, parenting classes, anger management and psychoeducation classes. Case management services are available for clients with co-occurring disorders that can connect the individual to community-based resources and medication management programs. There are also specialty groups for those who are dealing with divorce or past trauma issues in conjunction with substance abuse.
The clinicians at Restored Paths are licensed and certified addiction specialists. Accreditations include CADCs, LCSWs and Master’s-level LPCs.
Extras
In addition to chemical dependency programs Restored Paths also offers domestic violence and court case referrals and assistance with that process. Programs for veterans and those who need to fulfill class required hours due to a DUI are also able to go though this facility. Couples and family counseling services are offered on an individualized basis.

The programs at Restored Paths are reliable and thorough, taking into account the different experiences each client has and what drives them to want to pursue recovery in the first place. Treatment is provided by experienced and caring staff, and in a judgment free zone.
