The Basics
Omega Centre, Inc. is a substance abuse treatment facility located in Fort Myers, Florida. The substance abuse treatment program offered by Omega Center is exclusively outpatient with special programs for DUI and DWI offenders. Evidence-based methods of treatment are employed by credentialed staff and support services are available for those with dual diagnosis.
Treatment and Staff
OCI offers both a basic outpatient track and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Prior to enrollment, clients undergo an initial diagnostic assessment and evaluation which determines the best track for each client. Upon admission, an individualized plan is developed by staff.
Both programs incorporate individual and group therapy, family therapy, peer support groups, educational lectures and medication management. Treatment for co-occurring disorders is available as well.
Individual and family therapy sessions are scheduled independently, while group sessions are attended as determined by the client’s individualized plan. The type and frequency of treatment also depend on the unique needs of each client.
All therapies are based in CBT and DBT methodology. The 12 steps are not integrated into the program, however clients are encouraged to attend meetings outside of the program.
The staff at OCI consists of CADCs and LADCs.
Extras
In addition to substance abuse treatment, OCI also offers a special DWI and DUI program that meets court requirements for license reinstatement. Therapy sessions, education classes, prevention education and legal assistance are all available if necessary.
