Located in the Denver suburb of Castle Rock, Colorado, New Paradigm Counseling LLC offers a range of options for those recovering from substance abuse. Treatment and Staff
New Paradigm Counseling LLC offers a range of outpatient care including evaluations, therapy, DUI treatment and educational classes. Following an initial evaluation, clients work with a counselor to develop an individualized treatment plan that satisfies their treatment goals. Those who are determined to need of detox or residential care can be referred to outside facilities.
Group therapy for substance abuse is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Each of these two hour sessions covers topics such as relapse prevention, coping skills and healthy communication. Evidence based therapies like CBT and DBT are used. The recommended frequency of group attendance depends on the individual. In addition, educational classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Individual therapy is usually an hour long per session, and also relies on CBT.
The treatment team at New Paradigm Counseling consists of LADCs. Group sizes range from eight to 15 clients at a time.
Extras
Aside from the programs mentioned above, New Paradigm Counseling also offers a full continuum of care for DUI clients including evaluations, breathalyzers, drug testing and Level I and II alcohol and drug education. The 12-hour Level I course is offered in the evenings on Mondays through Fridays. The Level II course takes a total of 24 hours to complete, and is offered in the evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additional support groups for anger management and parenting are available as well.
