The Basics
Net-Steps of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is an outpatient facility that offers individual and group therapy, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and psychoeducation. The individualized programs include an Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and standard outpatient treatment. Gender-specific tracks and treatment tailored for working professionals are available. Treatment and Staff
Net-Steps is geared toward adult men and women struggling with addiction or a dual diagnosis. Clients are treated holistically with personalized treatment plans that address their unique issues. Typically, treatment begins in the IOP, which consist of approximately nine hours of weekly programming. This facility also offers an IOP track for women only, which addresses trauma, sexual abuse and shame. The women’s IOP is small, consisting of usually five clients or less, and childcare is available. There are also specialized IOP tracks for native Spanish speakers qbe those who struggle with chronic relapses. Clients who aren’t able to take a significant amount of time off work to attend treatment can attend the standard outpatient program, which can take place once or twice a week for about an hour.
While some some programs are rooted in spirituality, therapeutic modalities generally include CBT, DBT and some holistic options, like art therapy. For clients with dual diagnosis, medication management is available. There are also groups that address relapse prevention strategies, which includes identifying triggers and anger management. Additionally, this facility is able to prescribe and monitor methadone for clients with an opioid addiction.
The staff of Net-Steps includes case workers, a medical team of physicians and nurses, and an LPC.

Family counseling services is available in both group and individual settings. There are also medical and limited transportation services offered.
