The Basics
Founder and president of Lynch Wellness Professional Group Inc. in the Boston suburb of Norwell, Massachusetts, Dan Lynch is a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP) and LADC. He has worked with families, professional athletes, corporate professionals and entertainers, offering personalized substance abuse treatment plans and comprehensive behavioral health care.
The Background
Lynch is a graduate of Boston University, and has worked over 30 years in the recovery industry. In addition to the Lynch Wellness Professional Group, he was also the founder of the Lynch Wellness and Recovery Foundation, the National Treatment Advisor for Origins Behavioral Healthcare and a national speaker and educator. Lynch also served as the Regional Vice President for Caron Boston, a nationally recognized provider of alcohol and drug addiction treatment. His career began when he found his own sobriety. Lynch’s insight and empathy is enhanced by the fact that he personally has been in recovery for three decades.
The Approach
Lynch provides individualized programming for each client, but his specialty is in the attachment method approach to intervention. By utilizing a non-judgmental, loving and honest stance with not only the individual, but the families, friends, and co-workers, it helps to make the client feel secure. Lynch works closely with each individual member of the group to help them figure out what to say during the intervention, and what to expect during and after treatment. And for the loved ones, Lynch provides outside resources, like 12-step support meetings in their community, treatment facility coordination; detox referrals, communication with the court system or clients attorneys, and counseling services.
With Lynch’s extensive experience and time in the industry, he is able to connect the individual to the right treatment facility to suit their needs. He also provides those closest to the client with education and offers counseling services surrounding the disease of addiction and the effect it has had on their lives. He offers a “team” approach to all of his interventions, with the intent to set up a safety net of support for when the client is in treatment and after. And though Lynch has had experience working with all ages and walks of life, he specializes in older adults and their families.

Lynch brings decades of experience and enthusiasm to his clients and their families. His goal is to bring balance and peace to those who have suffered from and been affected by addiction, and over the years has developed a a great reputation in the industry.
