Treatment and Staff

Sessions typically last an hour and are scheduled as needed. Medication management for those dealing with co-occurring disorders is available on-site.
CAI provides group therapy sessions Monday through Saturday. Groups are held every hour from 6 am to 2:30 pm and from 5 to 6 pm. The program requires all those in the IOP track to attend groups four to five times a week; those in standard outpatient are asked to attend group therapy only twice a week. Group topics include anger management, parenting skills, coping skills, co-occurring disorders, depression, anxiety and relapse prevention. Off-site 12-step meetings can be implemented into treatment plans as well, though these are not a required part of treatment.
Staff members at CAI include psychiatrists, social workers, LPCs and LADCs. Treatment modalities include CBT, DBT and traditional talk therapy.

Aside from the more structured programs listed above, there are also programs available to DUI/DWI offenders and other criminal justice clients who must follow court-mandated guidelines.
