Zepf Center Adult Services Review
Zepf Center of Toledo, Ohio was originally established in 1974 by Elizabeth A. Zepf as a behavioral health community center. These days Zeft Center provides myriad services for the community including adolescent and adult mental health and addiction care. The adult care is comprised of detailed assessment services, medication management, psychiatric care, gambling and substance abuse treatment, and recovery housing. In addition to the addiction programming at Zepf Center, there is also a detox and short-term residential track available. Zepf Center is operated out of several locations to provide integrated care for all their clientele.
Treatment and Staff
The Zepf Center adult services offers a variety of treatment options that address issues from substance abuse, gambling, and in and outpatient treatment. Under the substance abuse umbrella clients are offered detox, short term residential and recovery housing.
The detox program provides 24 hour monitoring, align with semi private rooms. Detox is medically induced, and once clients are up to it they receive individual and group therapy and some recreation and activities based therapy. This program includes a discharge plan for continued care. This track also provides all meals and snacks.
Clients can continue onto the short term residential care that offers counseling and holistic care. Both the detox and residential track provides case management services including medical care, housing and extended mental health care. During this stage of treatment clients undergo assessments throughout their stay and placement in the correct treatment program following treatment.
Other adult services through Zepf includes outpatient addiction treatment, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), comprehensive behavioral health and vocational rehabilitation. Treatment addresses issues like relapse prevention, coping skills, smoking cessation, and anger management.
Staff is comprised of medical doctors and nurses, psychiatrists, LCSWs, case managers, recreational therapists and residential techs.
Extras
Zepf Center offers family members several support options. This includes Al-anon, Naranon, Racing or Recovery and Team Recovery.
Zepf Center has job training programs in the healthcare field. Some of the fields include dental hygienist, pharmacy technician, LPN, RN’s, phlebotomist and psychiatric aides.

Zepf Center’s adult program is an integrated treatment facility that provides the Toledo community with several treatment options. Regardless of what clients are dealing with there are programs that address their needs within a supportive and safe environment. In addition to their in house counseling and programs Zepf Center also has community based services that help them down the line with employment, housing and a variety of medical and mental health programs.
