Willow Place for Women is a treatment facility that specializes in the care of female clients struggling with substance use and eating disorders as well as surface addictions and an array of co-occurring mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression and trauma. The facility provides a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) as well as a sober living option and extensive aftercare support. Treatment and Staff
Before beginning treatment, clients undergo a comprehensive assessment that helps the staff create the most effective personalized care plan tailored to the unique goals and needs of the individual. PHP and IOP treatment can be ideal for clients that either cannot commit to residential treatment or for those transitioning back into regular life from an inpatient program. With 30 hours of treatment a week in PHP, clients are able to receive treatment while remaining at home and continuing to work.
With a focus on treating the “whole person,” Willow Place provides a multi-faceted approach that includes a range of therapeutic methods including DBT, CBT and ACT skills groups in addition to holistic approaches like yoga, dance, biosound healing, trauma therapy, acupuncture and art therapy. Psychoeducation, spirituality and nutrition therapy components are also integral to the programming. Therapists also utilize EMDR to treat trauma as a causal component of current conditions.
The Willow Place team is comprised of addiction specialists, therapists, a psychiatrist, nurses, clinicians, an acupuncturist and dietician. For clients in need of dual diagnosis support, psychiatric counseling and medication management are available.
