The Basics

Warrior Addiction Recovery in Atlanta, Georgia, is an outpatient treatment facility that specializes in the care of clients struggling with alcohol and substance use disorders. Founded by Bill Clark, a sober coach with expertise in Toltec Wisdom, Buddhist teachings and inner child work, Warrior primarily offers outpatient mentoring and coaching services. While the 12-step recovery model is an integral aspect of the treatment, dual diagnosis support is not available for clients with co-occurring disorders.

Treatment and Staff

Warrior believes that for clients to be successful they must take responsibility for their own treatment and that being proactive is an integral component to the success of a long-term sustainable recovery. Warrior offers a 20 minute free introductory session for clients before they begin treatment. The session helps the individual to decide whether or not the facility is a good fit, while also giving Clark the opportunity to determine the best possible course of action. Care programming is tailored to the unique needs, goals and circumstances of the individual client. While the length of care varies depending on the individual, a one-on-one session typically lasts between one and two hours.

Warrior seeks to teach clients to become aware of the suffering they are creating in their own lives. Effective individualized care is provided through a holistic treatment model that includes a number of therapeutic services. Clark integrates 12-step, psychotherapy, spirituality and philosophy. Clients engage in coaching and mentoring sessions rooted in Toltec Wisdom and Gestalt therapy to emphasize personal responsibility. The facility also offers unique methods like truth work as well as voice dialogue to engage with specific parts of the person’s psyche.

Bill Clark is a sober coach and mentor with mastery in the teachings of Don Miguel Ruiz and Toltec Wisdom. As Clark is neither a physician nor a psychiatrist, medication management is not a component of the programming, as previously mentioned.

Extras

For clients with time conflicts that cannot commit to daytime appointments, Warrior offers coaching sessions over the telephone. Phone sessions can be scheduled for between 5 and 10 pm EST and regular hours on the weekend. For long-distance, Clark pays any additional charges.

In Summary

Warrior Addiction Recovery is the private counseling facility of sober coach and mentor Bill Clark. Clark is proficient in a range of traditional and spiritual therapy services. For clients seeking a powerful and unique one-on-one treatment experience with a counselor with an open-minded approach to care, Warrior is a great option.
