The Basics

Treatment and Staff
Before beginning a program, clients undergo an initial intake and assessment to help staff members develop their individualized treatment plans. While the intensity the programs vary, both consist of group therapy rooted in the Matrix Model of treatment and use evidence-based practices, like CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Individual therapy is scheduled as needed. Depending on the stipulations of their court-order, clients may also be required to attend 12-step meetings as part of their program. Dual diagnosis support is not available.
The staff at Treatment Centers of Illinois consists of state-certified drug and alcohol clinicians, all of whom are Master’s-level counselors.
Extras
In addition to the above, the organization also provides a range of DUI/DWI classes and counseling opportunities in four different intensity levels. Standalone assessment services are also provided as are stepped-down continuing care groups as an aftercare option.
