The Basics
The Ness Counseling Center is a non-profit mental health treatment facility located in beautiful Beverly Hills, California. Treatment and Staff

Clients struggling with issues like depression and anxiety have access to individual therapy, in which practitioners use tools like CBT to help them identify the decisions and behaviors to help them serve their highest good. In group therapy, individuals who are experiencing similar issues such as anxiety, anger, or relationship problems, have the opportunity to work as a group, under the guidance of a counselor. Counselors at the Ness Counseling center often encourage clients to be open to art therapy as well. Art therapy is sometimes used by counselors to promote things like mindfulness and self expression.
Clients seeking treatment for addiction to drugs or alcohol may also enroll in the center’s Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The program is six hours a day, six days a week, with an emphasis on fostering tools such as creating healthy boundaries and avoiding triggers that may lead to drug or alcohol abuse. While the Ness Center does not host 12-step meetings per se, it does offer a variety of group therapy meetings.

Extras
The center offers a number of educational and enriching opportunities for individuals struggling with a wide variety of issues. Those who need it have access to things like Anger Management classes. Parenting classes are also available, and offer clients a means of strengthening skills like negotiating and encouraging positive behavior. Enrollment for most of the center’s programs is open, and perspective clients may simply walk-in during enrollment hours.
