The Basics
With facilities in Grants Pass, Klamath Falls and White City, Oregon, Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (SORCC) is a broad behavioral health organization run through the US Department of Veterans Affairs. The facility offers a range of programs for low-income and homeless veterans with addictions and co-occurring disorders. In addition to its intensive residential treatment, SORCC offers outpatient programming for those looking for a more flexible option.
Treatment and Staff
Before beginning a program, clients must go through an initial intake and assessment process to help staff members develop the appropriate treatment plan. Those in need of detox can do so on-site before continuing on to therapy. Each of the outpatient plans includes both individual and group therapy that utilize evidence-based treatment practices including CBT and DBT. Dual diagnosis support is also available as is medication management. As a supplement to formal treatment, clients are strongly encouraged to attend 12-step meetings in their community.
The staff at the facility consists of MDs, RNs, LCSWs, LPCs, psychologists and additional Master’s and PhD-level therapists.

The program has holistic elements including meditation and mindfulness training. SORCC also offers myriad primary medical services.
