The Basics
Based out of Andalusia, Alabama, South Central Alabama Mental Health is a multi-faceted treatment organization providing a range of services for clients struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Treatment and Staff
Before treatment begins, incoming clients undergo an initial assessment to help staff members develop individualized treatment plans. The staff at South Central Alabama Mental Health consists of LPCs, LMHCs, psychiatric nurses, psychologists and additional Master’s-level counselors.

In addition to outpatient care, the organization offers DUI/DWI programs as well as addiction education classes for court-ordered participants. Standalone mental health counseling and screenings are also available. Those who complete a primary care regimen can also continue with therapy at a stepped down rate as a form of aftercare.
