Recovered Connections Sober Living Review
Recovered Connections Sober Living is a men’s only sober living community located in Frisco, Texas. Clients who are 21 and older live in a supportive environment and live with like-minded individuals while attending 12-step meetings. An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is also available for those who require that service. The upscale and comfortable home provides a solid foundation for a life in recovery. Recovered Connections provides a safe and caring sober living environment for men in the beginning stages of their sobriety. Recovered Connections was established in 2019 by owners and active members of the 12-step community David Greenleaf and Lisa Jordan.
Accommodations and Amenities
The large, two-story, brick home has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Clients sleep in queen-sized beds in bedrooms that accommodate between two or three people. There is also one private room at the house. There are some en-suite bathrooms, and several shared bathrooms in the house. All the bedding and towels are provided by the facility, as are dressers and storage space.
There are several common rooms throughout the house, including the front room with a fireplace and the living room with TV, shared computer and wifi. There is a shared dining room, laundry facilities and ample outdoor space. Other items provided by the program include groceries, condiments, cookware and dishes, as well as utensils, cleaning products, laundry detergent and all paper products.
The house is in a quiet neighborhood that is close to grocery stores, parks, public transportation, movie theaters and restaurants.
Rules and Regulations
Clients have to attend seven AA or NA meetings per week, have Big Book study sessions, obtain and remain in continuous communication with a sponsor, and actively work the 12-steps. The weekly client and staff dinner, which is prepared by the residents, requires mandatory attendance.
Within a couple of weeks after moving into the house ,clients have to have and keep a full time job or be actively looking for full time employment. Staff is able to help clients find a job or create a resume if needed. There are household chores that need to be completed on a daily basis. In addition there is always a house manager on site and 24-hour monitoring.
There is an associated IOP Recovered Connections for clients who are referred to an outpatient treatment by institutions, therapists or other providers.

This new upscale sober living program gives adult men who are just beginning their lives in sobriety a leg up in their transition. The house is structured and runs on the 12-step principles and accountability of the clientele.
