The Basics
Based out of Greenville, South Carolina, Pavillon Sober Living is a CARF-accredited transitional facility for men that serves as a step-down option for clients leaving one of Pavillon’s primary care programs. Accommodations and Amenities
The facility can host a total of eight to 10 residents in rooms with double occupancy. Bedrooms include basic decorations as well as end tables and shared closet space. The home has on-site laundry, a fully-equipped kitchen and a shared living room with couches and TV. Throughout their stay, clients are expected to buy their own groceries and prepare their own meals.
Rules and Regulations
To stay at the facility, clients must first have completed a 90-day program through Pavillon and have several months of sober time. Regular and random drug tests are required. Aside from maintaining at least 20 hours a week of employment or school, clients are required to attend on- and off-site 12-step meetings and get a sponsor. Residents must also stay involved in an individualized outpatient program through Pavillon to help maintain their sobriety.

The facility also has an on-site counselor who can help clients with any emergencies and offer guidance. The house encourages bonding between residents through field trips and outdoor activities. Employment services are also available for those looking for a job.
