The Basics
Based out of Lake Worth, Florida, Millennium Treatment Group is an outpatient-based facility that provides flexible treatment services for clients struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Certified by the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR), it offers outpatient detox, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP).
Treatment and Staff
Before beginning treatment, all clients meet with staff members for an intake assessment to help develop their care plans. Although inpatient detox services are not available, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in the form of Suboxone or Vivitrol is available whenever necessary. As with many similar programs, PHP has clients attend full days of treatment five days a week whereas IOP meets for three hours per session, three to five days a week.
In all the above programs, treatment plans include both individual and group therapy with evidence-based practices including CBT and DBT, though specific modalities may vary by practitioner. Dual diagnosis and medication management services are available as well. In addition to the clinical methods mentioned above, groups also cover a range of practical topics including life skills, budgeting, stress management, emotional processing, relapse prevention, trigger identification and parenting skills. Clients are also required to participate in regular 12-step meetings.
The staff at Millennium Treatment Group consists of MDs, LMHCs, RNs, LCSWs, psychologists and additional Master’s-level clinicians.
Extras
Standalone case management services are also available as are holistic services including meditation and mindfulness training. Those who complete primary care can also work with staff members to develop a stepped down aftercare plan as well.
