Though clients are not required to take part in a 12-step program, regular attendance of meetings is still highly encouraged. Staff can provide information for community-based meetings upon request. Clients are required, however, to submit to weekly drug and alcohol testing which help monitor progress and ensure commitment to the program.
Staff members at HHC’s chemical dependency department include LADCs, certified mental health therapists and nurse practitioners. Treatment modalities include evidence-based methods like CBT.
