With day and evening programs available, clients are able to receive intensive treatment while working, living at home or at the facility’s sober living housing. As mentioned before, the facility offers a multifaceted approach to care that integrates a number of therapies based on the client’s intake assessment. Clients engage in individual and group therapy, the 12-step recovery model and medication management as well as biofeedback methods to teach clients how to control normally involuntary body processes like muscle tension and heart rate. With the addition of the sober living environment, clients gain from an abundance of peer support and an emphasis on relapse prevention. While the duration of treatment varies depending on the client, the frequency is consistent. PHP entails 30 hours of therapy stretched across five days of therapy a week. IOP is three days a week and outpatient is two days a week.
