Epiphany Recovery Review
Epiphany Recovery opened in 2015 in West Palm Beach, Florida offering outpatient substance abuse treatment with housing available for those looking for safe and sober living quarters while they attend treatment. Treatment is available through a co-ed Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), a basic outpatient track and day treatment that follows the 12-step approach. Epiphany Recovery also provides aftercare.
Accommodation and Food
Epiphany Recovery offers basic lodging that resembles a sober living environment a short distance from the treatment center. While staying at an Epiphany Recovery home, clients must do chores and obey a strict code of conduct and house rules. Each client shares his or her room with one other person of the same gender and each home also has its own pool. Clients are responsible for purchasing and preparing their own food.
Treatment and Staff
Epiphany Recovery has a holistic approach to treatment. The IOP runs an average of six to eight months, and sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday with morning, afternoon and evening sessions available to provide a flexible and individualized schedule. The average client attends treatment three days per week for about three hours each day.
Clients may take part in group or individual therapy, educational groups, family counseling and education, various recreational activities and team building exercises as well as 12-step education and relapse prevention classes. In addition to the mandatory group and one-on-one sessions, clients must also attend mandatory off-site AA/NA meetings. Epiphany Recovery also conducts regular drug and alcohol screenings and DUI evaluations. Clients have access to chiropractic services and may take part in adventure therapy or go on boat trips and other off-site recreational activities.
Epiphany Recovery’s staff consists of a number of Master’s-level therapists.
