The adult residential treatment in Denver offers individualized programming that utilizes evidence-based approaches, clinical intervention methods and thorough aftercare planning. Treatment and Staff
Treatment is based on exposure therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and DBT used in the village model program. After the initial assessment during the admission process, clients are given a treatment goal plan that is customized to their needs, and are placed into a series of scheduled group sessions. There are several groups per day and clients can expect at least one individual session per week. In addition to the evidence-based models, there is also the option to receive Christian based counseling.
In between therapy sessions clients have group meals and process groups right after to assess how they’re feeling about their food intake for the day. They learn valuable coping and recovery skills and relapse prevention techniques. There are also several expressive therapy options like art therapy, yoga and psychodrama.
There is 24 hour monitoring and care with the large and accomplished staff. Staff members include psychiatrists, medical doctors and nurses, internists, pscyhoclinicans, LMFTs, dietitians and patient care coordinators.

Eating Recovery Center has step-down outpatient treatment tracks and aftercare planning throughout treatment. There are also alumni events and weekly group sessions, and family therapy. Clients also get treated to regular massages.
