Accommodations and Food

The staff at Center for Discovery Fremont consists of Certified Eating Disorder Specialists (CEDS), a physician, a psychiatrist, LMFTs, dietitians, LPCs, RNs and additional Master’s-level clinicians.

Group sessions also utilize holistic modalities, including art therapy, Somatic Experiencing, yoga, gym time, Zumba classes, nature hikes and mindfulness training. Equine therapy is also sometimes included in treatment.
Throughout the country, Center for Discovery offers additional programs in California, Washington, Connecticut, Virginia, New Jersey, Florida, Texas and Oregon. Those who finish primary care can work with staff members to step down the intensity of their treatment as a form of aftercare, usually through one of the organization’s many outpatient options. Finally, the organization also has its own mobile app that alums may utilize to track their meals, record their feelings and view nutritional information.
