Antioch Counseling and Treatment Services Review
Antioch Counseling and Treatment Services is a substance abuse treatment program offered by Antioch Bible Church in Redmond, Washington. Antioch Bible Church has been a spiritual presence in the community since 1984, offering not only religious teachings and practices, but community services as well. The ACTS program offers both a basic outpatient and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Although these programs are faith-based, all are welcome regardless of their religious affiliation.
Treatment and Staff
Consultation and intervention services are offered for families who need help encouraging their loved ones to seek treatment. Recovery at ACTS begins with an initial evaluation and assessment to determine the unique needs of the client and to develop an individualized treatment plan.
All clients are required to meet with their counselor at least once a week for individual CBT. The frequency and type of group therapy attended is dependent upon each client’s unique plan, however attendance at least twice a week is encouraged. Involvement in a 12-step program is required with the options for faith-based recovery meetings. Addiction education seminars and groups are also offered to clients and their families to better understand the nature of chemical dependency and how to navigate through addiction and recovery. Random drug tests and breathalyzers are administered throughout the program to help clients meet their goals of being substance-free. Adolescent groups and family groups are available as well.
The staff at ACTS consists of LPCs and LADCs.
Extras
In addition to the ACTS program, the Antioch Bible Church also offers a variety of other services to their community including ministry classes, a nursery, after-school programs, military support, choir programs and international mission programs. Clients are encouraged to participate as a method to enrich their lives in recovery.
