Elan Recovery and Wellness Review
Based out of North Palm Beach, Florida, Elan Recovery and Wellness is a behavioral health treatment facility that provides a wide range of programs for clients struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Those are the Endeavor program, a secular program for addiction and co-occurring disorders, and the Valor program, a Christian-version of the same. Each of these has three possible sub-programs as well. The first is Triumph, a trauma-specific plan; another is Gallant, a program for young adults; and the third is eXcel, a program specifically for older adults.
Treatment takes a multi-disciplinary approach and all plans are individualized. Those in need of medical detox may need to seek additional services elsewhere before continuing on to treatment. Though the specifics vary, evidence-based treatment practices implemented at Elan include CBT, REBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Dual diagnosis support and medication management services are available along with 12-step integration. In addition to the more clinical or scientific methods mentioned above, groups also cover topics like shame resiliency, life skills, relapse prevention, stress reduction and coping skills.
The staff at Elan Recovery and Wellness consists of nurse practitioners, case managers, spiritual counselors, chaplains and additional Master’s-level clinicians.

The facility also offers music and art therapy as well as adventure therapy and spiritual guidance. As mentioned, those seeking a more Christian approach can also do so as necessary with access to all the same sub-programs. Once participants complete a plan, they can also work with staff members to develop stepped down aftercare options as necessary.
