With its headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee, Acadia serves communities across the country and in the UK with inpatient, residential, outpatient and school-based treatment programs.
Treatment and Staff
Cedar Rapids provides an MAT track that incorporates traditional therapy to support clients battling opiate addiction. Before beginning treatment, all clients are assessed to determine the best medication for their needs. No medical or hospital detox is required. Medication options include Methadone, Subutex, Suboxone and Vivitrol. Once the medication is administered, the client is closely monitored by a nursing staff and Physicians to ensure the dosage is correct. Dosage hours are Monday through Friday from 6 to 10:45 am and from 12 to 1:30 pm. Weekend dosage is available on Saturday from 8 until 9:30 am. The facility is closed on Sunday.
Following dosing hours, the facility is open until 2:30 pm to facilitate clients participating in group and individual therapy sessions. Therapeutic activities are facilitated by LADCs and Master’s-level clinicians. Participation in therapeutic activities is not required, but is strongly encouraged to support the recovery process. If clients do not want to attend or cannot due to scheduling, they are encouraged to attend community 12-step meetings for support. Counselors also connect clients with resources and community services for those in need of public assistance to support their recovery.
Extras
Clients receive focused treatment that is tailored to their needs and health concerns. If the staff determines that a client might benefit from additional mental or physical health care, referrals are given to trusted community resources.
In Summary
Cedar Rapids Comprehensive Treatment Center is primarily a MAT facility for individuals who are struggling with opioid addiction. By also offering therapeutic services, clients build a foundation for lasting recovery with flexible programming and a professional staff. Both medical and mental health staff members are always present at the clinic and able to help clients work towards greater health goals and a better way of life.
