Founded in 2006, Pathways, MI is a Michigan-based behavioral health organization with locations in Holland, Allegan and Muskegon. Aside from community outreach programs, the facility also provides outpatient treatment for mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
Treatment and Staff
Before beginning treatment, clients go through an initial intake and assessment so that an individualized treatment plan may be developed. While each track is different, all programs include individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices, such as CBT. Groups cover relapse prevention, coping skills, anger management, communication skills and dual diagnosis issues like depression and anxiety. While court-ordered clients may be required to attend 12-step meetings, others may only be encouraged to do so.
Staff consists of case managers, CADCs, CSWs, psychologists and additional Bachelor’s and Master’s-level clinicians.

Additional services include community outreach and prevention, leadership courses, parenting classes and more. For children in need of a safer living environment, Pathways, MI also offers foster care, adoption and court-appointed advocate services. Standalone mental health, couples and family counseling is available, as is bilingual Spanish support and aftercare in the form of stepped-down therapy.
