Willamette Family Inc Review
Based in Lane County, in southern Oregon, Willamette Family Inc is a multi-faceted behavioral health non-profit that provides addiction treatment and other medical services. The organization has been operational for more than 50 years and their programs include detox, outpatient and gender-specific residential treatment.
Accommodations and Food
The Carlton House for men can accommodate up to 27 men in nine bedrooms, with three residents to a room. The Cheshire Center for women can host up to 47 women and 14 children, each in private rooms. Both locations come equipped with sitting rooms large couches and a community television but the women’s home also has three on-site playgrounds and an outdoor eating area.
Both facilities have have a kitchen staff that provides residents with three meals a day.
Treatment and Staff
Clients in need of detox will start treatment at the Buckley Center, where medication management or Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) are also available. Once stabilized, residential treatment plans are individualized and include individual and group therapy using the evidence-based practices of Motivational Interviewing (MI) and CBT. Additional mental health support is built in for those with co-occurring disorders. Clients who wish can attend off-site 12-step meetings, though it is not required.
The staff at Willamette Family Inc Residential consists of CSWs, CADCs, LCSWs and additional Master’s-level therapists.
Extras
Willamette Family Inc also has outpatient programs that offer gender-specific care. The facility also provides a number of basic medical care services and case management to help clients.
