The Basics
Based in Memphis, Tennessee, Warriors Center is a multi-faceted organization that offers a wide range of programs for men and women in recovery from addiction. Founded in 1999, it provides faith-based services including transitional housing and month-long spiritual bootcamps. Treatment and Staff
Before beginning, clients undergo an initial intake and assessment to help staff members develop an individualized treatment plan. The staff at Warriors Center consist of LADCs, LPCs, spiritual counselors, physical coaches and additional Master’s and PhD-level clinicians.
Extras
Those who complete the program can attend aftercare groups, which are essentially continued treatment at a stepped down rate. Staff members also help graduating clients with job placement. Those in need of more intensive care should look into one of the organization’s residential or transitional programs.
