The Basics
Founded in 1995, Wallowa Valley Center for Wellness is an outpatient treatment facility for addiction and co-occurring disorders. Located in Enterprise, Oregon, the facility has become the main provider of behavioral and mental health services for Wallowa County. Programs are designed to be flexible, affordable and family-oriented, serving clients of all ages.
Treatment and Staff
Upon intake, clients work with staff members to develop an individualized treatment plan consisting of a individual and group therapy for six to 12 sessions. All treatment is evidence-based and can include CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Other modalities include EMDR for trauma and play therapy for younger clients. For those with a dual diagnosis, medication management and additional counseling are available. While 12-step participation is not always required, clients are encouraged to attend local meetings.
Staff consists of LCSWs, LPCs, CADCs and other Master’s-level counselors.
Extras
Other services include crisis intervention, school-based counseling and a supported employment program that helps clients find and keep jobs. The facility also has a range of services for clients with developmental disabilities as well as an 11-bed residential program for severe mental illness.
