Vogue Recovery Center Review
Vogue Recovery Center is a suburban Las Vegas based detox, residential and outpatient treatment facility that provides programming to men and women in a luxury setting. Clients receive individualized care that utilizes holistic and evidence-based modalities in both group and individual therapy. The comprehensive programming is relaxed and client focused, and all within a caring atmosphere.
Accommodations and Food
The luxury living facilities clients reside in during treatment are set far away from the famous Las Vegas strip, and instead in a quiet residential neighborhood with mountain views. Clients live in a home that can accommodate up to 10 clients at once, who sleep in double occupancy bedrooms and shared bathrooms. The house offers a variety of amenities and all the comforts of home. The bedrooms are furnished with queen beds and comfortable linens. The large kitchen and dining room space has new appliances, and clients dine together daily enjoying healthy and hearty meals that are prepared by an on site executive chef. There are two living rooms spaces, both with a TV, and one with a fireplace. These areas also double as a meeting space. Finally the backyard is split with a swimming pool on one side and a BBQ area on the other. There is also a ping pong table set up in the patio space.
Treatment and Staff
The inpatient portion of treatment is usually around four weeks in length, and can begin with a detox process that is medically monitored 24 hours a day by a staff physician. After stabilization clients join the rest of the residential population to participate in structured, individualized treatment days. This includes at least two group sessions, and individual session and a community AA or NA meeting.
Treatment uses evidence-based CBT approaches along with neurofeedback, positive peer engagement and some holistic approaches. Music and art therapy and adventure therapy are also programming options. Case management is offered in terms of legal or financial responsibilities as well.
After the four weeks are completed clients have an option to move onto the outpatient track at Vogue, which can last anywhere between two to eight weeks. The initial four weeks in residential plus two week in outpatient are considered phase one of a three part system. Since these programs are individualized clients aren’t required to spend any set amount of time in treatment.
The multidisciplinary team of clinicians are all Master’s or Doctorate level. There is an on-site medical doctor and nursing staff available 24 hours a day, CADC, LCSW and residential chemical dependency techs.
Extras
There are daily yoga sessions or visits to an off-site gym. Clients are provided with a membership during their stay. Additionally clients may experience hypnotherapy and other holistic and experiential approaches.
There are weekly professional massages, along with sober excursions that can include a visit to a theme park, beach, or other Las Vegas attraction like a national park.
