Vogue Recovery Center Review

Vogue Recovery Center is a suburban Las Vegas based detox, residential and outpatient treatment facility that provides programming to men and women in a luxury setting. Clients receive individualized care that utilizes holistic and evidence-based modalities in both group and individual therapy. The comprehensive programming is relaxed and client focused, and all within a caring atmosphere.

Accommodations and Food

The luxury living facilities clients reside in during treatment are set far away from the famous Las Vegas strip, and instead in a quiet residential neighborhood with mountain views. Clients live in a home that can accommodate up to 10 clients at once, who sleep in double occupancy bedrooms and shared bathrooms. The house offers a variety of amenities and all the comforts of home. The bedrooms are furnished with queen beds and comfortable linens. The large kitchen and dining room space has new appliances, and clients dine together daily enjoying healthy and hearty meals that are prepared by an on site executive chef. There are two living rooms spaces, both with a TV, and one with a fireplace. These areas also double as a meeting space. Finally the backyard is split with a swimming pool on one side and a BBQ area on the other. There is also a ping pong table set up in the patio space.

Treatment and Staff

The inpatient portion of treatment is usually around four weeks in length, and can begin with a detox process that is medically monitored 24 hours a day by a staff physician. After stabilization clients join the rest of the residential population to participate in structured, individualized treatment days. This includes at least two group sessions, and individual session and a community AA or NA meeting.

Treatment uses evidence-based CBT approaches along with neurofeedback, positive peer engagement and some holistic approaches. Music and art therapy and adventure therapy are also programming options. Case management is offered in terms of legal or financial responsibilities as well.

After the four weeks are completed clients have an option to move onto the outpatient track at Vogue, which can last anywhere between two to eight weeks. The initial four weeks in residential plus two week in outpatient are considered phase one of a three part system. Since these programs are individualized clients aren’t required to spend any set amount of time in treatment.

The multidisciplinary team of clinicians are all Master’s or Doctorate level. There is an on-site medical doctor and nursing staff available 24 hours a day, CADC, LCSW and residential chemical dependency techs.

Extras

There are daily yoga sessions or visits to an off-site gym. Clients are provided with a membership during their stay. Additionally clients may experience hypnotherapy and other holistic and experiential approaches.

There are weekly professional massages, along with sober excursions that can include a visit to a theme park, beach, or other Las Vegas attraction like a national park.

In Summary

Vogue Recovery Center aims to provide its clients with upscale accommodations and comprehensive treatment in a calm, serene setting. Inpatient and outpatient clients are treated like family and provided with a sense of safety and support as they embark on their recovery journeys. It’s a much needed resource for the Las Vegas community and great place to set a foundation for sobriety and a healthier life.

Continued commentary about this character George. He has sent me correspondence dated march 8, 2018 stating he is forced to get a restraining order against me and now claims that i tried to extort him for $ 500.00 so I would remove these reviews. Really, this guy and vogue recovery in my opinion, should be avoided at all costs. Incidently, he has now presented me with a bill for more than $ 80, 000.00. So, if you want your loved ones to suffer severe emotional distress and other hardships after attemptining sobriety then by all means engage their services. Now, if you really desire to become healthy stay away! Far away!

  3. I highly recommend Vogue Recovery Center for all those struggling with addition! My sister has been 2 years sober now and living a life I never thought I would see. The staff there was extremely caring to not only her but to us as well. They were there to answer any questions we might had about her current state. It was an extremely hard time for my family and I to watch her struggle. She would stay busy with activities at her location and met a lot of new people along with way. My family and I appreciate all the staff at vogue recovery and we will continue to stand by them. An extremely big thank you to the staff and Nikki!!

George(thé owner) caller me begging for my wife to attend this program and assured me that VA Insurance would cover much of the cost provided i pay him 5,000.00. Wé haggled and got thé out of Pocket cost to 1500.00. Hé stated he would provided Her with all treatment and she would be there a minimum of 40 days. He said he had doubled checked with the VA beneifts and everything was fine. This was crucial because my wife was already accepted in Florida. George insisted my wife report to his facility immediately. Which, i flew her there the very next day. After 26 days George informed me that for my wife to continue with “much needed” further testament would require à $7,000.00 cash only payment or she had 1 day to “get out”. My opinion, George, is a liar, chat, thief and cannot .be trusted. Caveat Emptor! I Will .be following up this révise with a complainte to thé BBB, State Licensing Board and contemplating possible légal action.

Follow up to previous comment: George called me today at 11:33 MST begging for me to remove this complaint and offered me 500.00 to do so. I explained that from my understanding the CHAMP VA had paid his company for my wife’s treatment. Evidently he s upset because I submitted this review based on his lies and non compliance with the terms and conditions of our agreement in relation to my wife’s attending this program. Make no mistake, George did not honor the agreement and when he was of the impression that he might have trouble with the VA he unceremoniously ordered my wife to leave the program. When he called today and I saw on my caller I’d it was George I honestly thought he was inquiring about my wife’s progress. However, the first words out of his mouth was in reference to my negative review and how it was impacting his business. Which by the way, is the purpose of reviews. To present honest opinions about experiences with businesses and others to assist potential clients in making very costly decisions. I also noticed when revisiting my review today that a Dr. JIM from Vogue had left a rebuttal review in an attempt to wash the experience we ‘ve had under the bridge. Coincidently, that review and my Response thereto, has bee removed. The final note of my conversation with George was that he threatened to bring legal action by stating, “we’ll let the lawyers handle it” . If anyone out there is seeking a recovery program where the people involved are truly compassionate and care about the treatment, AVOID VOGUE RECOVERY CENTER OF LAS VEGAS. They are ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE MONEY!.. I now await with great anticipation on the initiation of the legal action that George has threatened me with.
