Since 2007, Vision Behavioral Health Service, LLC in Louisburg, North Carolina has provided outpatient substance abuse treatment services to adolescent and adult men and women. Treatment and Staff
Treatment at VBHS focuses on clients developing strategies for establishing and maintaining long-term sobriety goals. The program runs three -hour sessions, three days per week. All treatment schedules are individualized so each client attends one on one sessions and groups at a frequency appropriate for their unique needs. They may also receive medication management and psychiatric evaluations, if necessary.
The staff therapist schedules periodic visits with each client to promote and maintain psychiatric and behavioral stability and help with stress management and personal matters. Gender-specific group sessions are also available for both men and women, meeting once per week for 90 minute sessions. Each group works on helping clients identify problems and learn clinical skills and tools to overcome these obstacles.
VBHS staff consists of a psychiatrist, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, CSACs and licensed clinicians.
Extras
Among VBHS’s additional services are Drinking While Intoxicated (DWI) assessments, couples’ therapy, DWI group, family therapy, an anger management and a mood disorder group as well as a co-ed adolescent groups for clients between the ages of 12 and 17.
