The Basics
Based out of Collingswood, New Jersey, Village Wrap, Inc. is an expansive behavioral health organization offering a range of outpatient services for addiction and co-occurring disorders. Treatment and Staff
After a biopsychosocial assessment, clients work with staff to develop individualized treatment plans that follow either a standard outpatient or Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) track, which meets for three hours, three times a week. Treatment consists of is Trauma Informed Care (TIC) individual and group therapy that uses evidence-based practices, such as CBT and DBT, as well as other interpersonal and psychodynamic approaches. There are also some holistic options available, like art therapy, yoga, spiritual counseling and exercise. Dual diagnosis support is also available. Though 12-step participation is not required, clients can get referrals to local meetings upon request.
Staff consists of LADCs, CADCs, LCSWs, LPCs, a psychiatric APN, yoga instructors and personal trainers.
Extras
Additional services include LGBTQ-specific groups, counseling for anger management and domestic violence and family therapy. Aftercare is offered in the form of stepped-down treatment. Psychological testing and assessments are also available on a standalone basis. The facility also has a food pantry service every third Friday of the month, which offers emergency food assistance for those in need.
