Treatment and Staff
Before beginning a program, all participants go through an intake and assessment process to help staff members determine their needs. On-site detox services are not available though referrals can be made as necessary. Once stabilized, clients can begin flexible and individualized counseling regimens which include both individual and group therapy. Programs include evidence-based treatment practices such as CBT and DBT. Still, additional holistic approaches are also included such as massage therapy, acupuncture, nutritional counseling and play therapy. Dual diagnosis support and medication management services are provided as well. Those struggling with addiction are also encouraged to attend 12-step meetings.
The staff at Total Health Guidance consists of psychologists, LMFTs, LPCs, massage therapists, acupuncturists and additional Master’s-level clinicians.
Extras
A wide array of additional services are also offered including life coaching services for business, personal life, parenting and careers. Specific counseling courses are also offered including Christian counseling, animal therapy, anger management, sexual identity guidance and financial counseling. All programs are highly-customizable and Spanish-speaking support is also provided. Those who finish primary care can also work with staff members to develop step-down aftercare plans.
