The Basics
Thriveworks is a network of outpatient treatment facilities with offices all over the US. It offers therapy to individuals and couples along with life coaching services. Treatment is available either in-office or online and facilitated by Master’s-level or higher therapists who specialize in a number of different mental health concerns. Clients of Thriveworks can expect evidence-based protocols in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere that is conducive to healing.
Treatment and Staff
Potential clients can contact Thriveworks by phone or online to setup the initial appointment. There are options on the website for clients to read about and select an appropriate therapist in their area. Usually within 24 hours clients are paired up with their therapist and have their first session on the books.
The specialties of the therapists at Thriveworks are commonly depression and anxiety along with issues within a relationship. However, other issues that are commonplace include addiction, bipolar disorder, OCD, concerns and behaviors associated with weight loss surgeries, sex abuse and addiction, trauma, PTSD and OCD. They also address relationship issues such as infertility, infidelity and conflict, just to name a few.
There are a series of different therapeutic methods applied within a counseling setting at this facility. Common approaches are CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Approaches, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and a number of other modalities.
The therapists at Thriveworks are from a number of different backgrounds and speak several different languages, in addition to having an array of specialties. Clients typically book their counseling sessions online, and are able to schedule everything with the click of a mouse. Thriveworks also offers a wide variety of behavioral health experts, including LPCs, psychologists, psychiatrists, LCSWs and life coaches, all of whom have extensive experience working with clients in a number of different settings.

Apparently Thriveworks was born after the founder tried to contact a therapist, and after 40 failed phone calls that went right to voicemail with no results, decided to create a therapeutic community that would never let the client feel left out in the cold. Thriveworks is a truly unique counseling experience. The premise behind the idea is that clients get paired with the right therapist who is equipped to treat them based on their specific needs, and if the client isn’t happy with who they get, their fees are fully refunded.
