The Basics
Three Affiliate Tribes Circle of Life is a substance abuse treatment facility offering a variety of treatment programs at an affordable price. Located in New Town, North Dakota, the Circle of Life treatment program offers both a standard outpatient treatment track and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
Treatment and Staff
Circle of Life’s IOP and standard tracks begin with an assessment of the potential client to develop an individualized treatment plan which entails the frequency of sessions needed and which counselor best suits each client. The IOP is six- to nine-hours of counseling per week and the basic track is one- to five-hours of counseling per week, with both programs requiring at least one hour of individual therapy per week.
The various groups implement CBT and include gender-specific groups, addiction education for beginners, relapse prevention and family groups. There is also a special co-occurring disorders group for those with both substance abuse disorders and mental health issues.
The staff at Circle of Life consists of LSWs, LPCs and LCDCs.
Extras
In addition to substance abuse treatment, Circle of Life also has a solid referral system as well as specialized programming for those in need of treatment while still on active military duty. They are able to accommodate the specific needs and stressors of these clients with group sessions.

Three Affiliated Tribes Circles of Life is an independent program with the aim to serve the community with an emphasis on group therapy. Both the IOP and basic outpatient program give clients access to a variety of weekly special-topic groups as well as at least one hour of individual treatment. Circle of Life provides comprehensive treatment services to assist clients in reaching their recovery goals.
