Combining high-end amenities with a strong emphasis on individualized recovery, the facility caters to a clientele that is comfortable in the pace of big city life.
Accommodations and Amenities
Described as being created “to provide executives and those accustomed to more refined and high functioning lifestyles with a top-tier addiction recovery housing option,” The Penthouse certainly lives up to its mission statement. Providing space for five men at a time, the facility offers three single rooms, a shared bedroom, and five bathrooms, with each room coming with a private balcony. Additionally, the residence comes with open, tastefully decorated common rooms, featuring couches, a TV and foosball table, and extra private rooms for clients needing workspaces.
The Penthouse also offers a chef-caliber kitchen, with all meals provided and prepared by a private chef three days a week. While clients typically prepare their own meals during the day, they usually eat dinner together in the communal dining room. Clients are also given a free membership to a nearby gym.
Rules and Regulations
Clients are afforded a large degree of freedom and ability to shape their weekly schedule while in residence at the Penthouse, but there are certain parameters guiding their stay. While the schedules of clients varies, with some attending Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and some having already completed such treatment, 12-step recovery is highly emphasized at the Penthouse, with all clients expected to attend several meetings a week and work with a sponsor. Random drug tests are conducted throughout a client’s stay and there is staff on hand 24/7. The Penthouse also provides sober coaches and recovery companions for those looking for a more hands-on guide during their stay.

For potential clients needing to be guided on their first step towards recovery, The Penthouse offers intervention services. The facility works a network of accredited intervention companies to advise potential clients and provide family support.
