Each room comes with basic accommodations including twin beds, end dressers and closet space. The facility has on-site coin laundry, a living room and lounge areas with TVs and a full kitchen. Clients are expected to prepare their own meals.

Those with severe co-occurring disorders or who are registered sex offenders are not eligible for residence.

Extras

The Friendship House also offers temporary YMCA memberships to all clients. The home also holds monthly alumni meetings as a form of aftercare for anyone who completes the initial program.

In Summary

Overall, The Friendship House is a modest and functional sober living facility for men. It promotes a 12-step model of recovery and offers a safe and comfortable environment where men can begin to rebuild their lives in sobriety. While those in need of dual diagnosis support may need to seek outside help, The Friendship House remains an affordable choice for men in early recovery.
