The Basics
Based in Miami, Florida, The Counseling Group is a behavioral health organization founded by LMFTs Silvia Almeida Vaquero and Alma Lovaton Quagliato. Other services include Somatic Experiencing therapy and coaching for clients with ADD/ADHD. A range of psychological and academic testing services are also available. Special group sessions for parents of college-bound students are also offered, as is a teen enrichment program which takes place over the summer. Those who complete primary therapy can also step down the intensity of their care as a form of aftercare.
