Treatment and Staff
Before treatment begins, all clients are seen for an assessment by the clinical staff who determine whether or not there’s a need for dual diagnosis support. In addition to chemical dependency treatment, TCHS also offers a DUI/DWI program for clients facing legal issues.
Groups include psychoeducation classes, DUI/DWI education classes, relapse prevention techniques and co-occurring disorders support. Clients are also encouraged to attend 12-step meetings to support their recovery and to develop a peer community.
TCHS provides placement services for clients that include housing and employment. Court-ordered support is also available for clients with DUIs. If clients need additional services, the clinical staff provides referrals to local community resources.
Taylor County Human Services offers affordable care for Taylor County residents. Mental health treatment and chemical dependency services that combine evidence based treatment methods in both group and individual sessions are also available. Using standard methods of treatment, TCHS provides clients with affordable and flexible care to help build a stable foundation of recovery.
