The Basics
Sunspire Health is a nationwide network of addiction treatment facilities that offer personalized treatment plans for people of all walks of life, meeting them where they are at and guiding them through recovery. In 2011, Sunspire acquired its first facility and has expanded to become a comprehensive network of eight addiction treatment facilities located in Massachusetts, South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Illinois, Oregon and California.
Treatment and Staff
Heartland provides medical detox on-site so that patients can be eased off of substances of abuse before beginning residential treatment on the same campus. We make detox as comfortable as possible and utilize medications to ease the symptoms of withdrawal as needed to prepare patients for the next step of treatment.
There are 36 beds at Heartland for the residential treatment program during which patients live on campus while receiving care with access to treatment staff day and night. A full daily schedule keeps patients busy and focused on active recovery to prepare for a life of sobriety and healthier, more-balanced living.
Heartland offers patients the option to step down from the residential treatment program and continue to receive care at the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) level while residing on campus. PHP is designed to provide ongoing support and treatment that allows patients more independence as they prepare to transition to an aftercare option locally or near home.

All clients have access to an on-site exercise room and grounds for walking.
