Upon intake, client undergo an initial assessment to help staff members develop individualized treatment plans. All programs include individual and group therapy that uses evidence-based practices, such as DBT and EMDR. Dual diagnosis support is also available as necessary. While 12-step participation is not always required, some of its recovery concepts are used and referrals for meetings are provided upon request. Groups cover a range of topics including addiction as a disease, relapse prevention, life skills and emotional processing.
The staff at Sun Ray Addiction consists of Master’s-level, state-certified drug and alcohol counselors.

Additional services include transportation to and from treatment every day. As mentioned, the organization also makes referrals to detoxes and IOPs as necessary. Those who complete primary care can also be referred to aftercare programs as well.
