Stepping Sober utilizes Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and EMDR to treat trauma as a causal component of current alcohol and substance use as well as a range of co-occurring disorders such as anxiety and personality disorders.
The Stepping Sober team is comprised of a primary therapist, family therapist, psychiatrist, physician, addiction specialists, and a dietician and eating disorder specialist. As previously mentioned, the facility can provide medication management for individuals in need of dual diagnosis support.
