The Basics
State Line Treatment Services offers a full range of services including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), counseling and detox services. With three locations in Ohio—two in the suburbs of Cincinnati and one in Dayton— State Line Treatment Services offers outpatient treatment, primarily serving individuals recovering from opioid abuse.
The founder, Amy Erhardt, has nearly three decades of healthcare experience. For over 26 years, she was the CEO of a large substance abuse treatment facility and decided to create State Line Treatment Services in the face of the growing opioid epidemic in Ohio.
Treatment and Staff
The program at State Line Treatment Services is specifically designed for those suffering from opioid addiction, however the outpatient program supports recovery from all forms of substance abuse. It offers MAT using Suboxone and methadone. An initial assessment is used to determine which medication would be most beneficial to the client and to develop an individualized treatment plan.
Clients participate in a minimum of one weekly individual session and group therapy three times a week for three-hour sessions. Therapists utilize CBT and cover topics like addiction education, the nature of chemical dependency, relapse prevention, aftercare planning and independent living skills. Family therapy can also be scheduled as needed. Treatment for co-occurring disorders is also available and integrated into individual sessions. The 12 steps are not incorporated into treatment but attendance at off-site meetings is encouraged.
The staff consists of LPCs, RNs and LCDCs.
Extras
In addition to opioid detox and substance abuse programs, State Line also offers a range of HIV services. These services include HIV post-diagnosis counseling, medical and referrals for clinical services.
Specialized services for pregnant women and women with dependent children are also available.
In Summary
State Line Treatment Services is committed to serving the community with medication-assisted detox and basic outpatient services. With special services for pregnant women, co-occurring disorders and those diagnosed with HIV, State Line is more than just treatment.
