Though clients are required to complete substance abuse treatment prior to admission, staff refer clients to off-site groups, individual therapy, medication management and neuro-psychiatric evaluations at nearby treatment facilities in the area. While the Herring House and the men’s Step By Step home at Dothan are considered sober living residences, the availability and structure of the program offer many of the benefits of residential rehab treatment.
