The facility is located on a 10,000 square foot private estate surrounded by 12 acres of gardens, recreation areas and beautiful mountain scenery. The home is equipped with the latest amenities that include a top notch security system, beautiful views and a gaming room.
The facility provides five-star cuisine with fresh ingredients. A culinary team prepares three meals a day as well as snacks and drinks. They accommodate residents with dietary restrictions or preferences.
Treatment and Staff
Silver Ridge offers a client-centered approach to programming with personalized care. To this end, clients entering treatment first undergo a comprehensive assessment. This helps the staff to effectively customize the program to the client’s specific needs. Many residents require detox upon arrival. Silver Ridge Recovery works with several community detox units to cleanse the client of toxins before entering longer-term residential care. While the duration of residential programming varies depending on the needs of the individual, the facility encourages clients to stay at least 45 days.
Silver Ridge’s body-mind-spirit approach seeks to heal the “whole person” through the treatment of core issues that occur during midlife.Programming utilizes a strengths-based philosophy that brings out the individual’s skill and talent. This approach integrates evidence-based methods, positive psychology and lifespan developmental psychology to examine how life experiences have shaped lives.
Residents also engage in individual and group therapy, evidence-based ACT and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to elicit behavior change by helping clients to explore and resolve ambivalence. In addition, the facility seeks to help clients dissociate from the trauma of substance use through holistic practices like mindfulness, yoga and horticultural therapy. In addition, Silver Ridge Recovery provides psychoeducation and equine-assisted therapy.
The Silver Ridge team is comprised of therapists, counselors, addiction specialists and a psychiatrist. Medication management is available for clients with co-occurring disorders in need of dual diagnosis support.
Extras
Silver Ridge Recovery’s holistic offerings include Qigong, meditation and acupuncture.
In lieu of credit cards, the team asks residents to bring prepaid Visa cards that the staff can use to pick up any necessary items.
