Family therapy helps to re-build trust, self esteem and heal the trauma that families experience with a relative struggling with addiction. In addition, Arbiter works with child and adolescent clients with learning disorders, depression, anxiety and fear.
In addition to family therapy, Arbiter facilitates individual and group therapy as well as couples counseling. Topics include stress management, domestic violence, parenting issues, divorce and reconciliation.
Linda Arbiter is an MFT with multiple affiliations including the Women’s Association of Addiction Therapists, American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Arbiter also offers a specialized group for adolescents caught in the middle of divorce. The group meets weekly for two months and topics include grief and loss, boundaries and developing coping strategies.
