The Basics
With locations in Northhampton, Greenfield, Holyoke, Amherst and Pittsfield, Massachusetts, ServiceNet is a multi-faceted organization with a range of programs for behavioral health issues. Aside from recovery homes, the organization also provides flexible outpatient treatment for addiction and co-occurring disorders.
Treatment and Staff
Before beginning treatment, clients complete an initial intake and assessment so that staff can develop an individualized treatment plan. While the specifics may vary, all programs work within the structure of group and individual therapy that use evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Groups cover mindfulness, relapse prevention, Seeking Safety and other specialized topics. While 12-step participation is not required, clients are encouraged to attend off-site AA/NA meetings.
Staff consists of LCSWs, LMHCs, CADCs, psychiatrists, nurses and additional Master’s and PhD-level clinicians.
Extras
Additional services include standalone mental health counseling and case management. Those in need of stable and sober housing can apply to one of ServiceNet’s sober livings. The facility also provides a range of additional community-oriented services including placement in homeless shelters, in-home nursing, residential programs for those with brain injuries and more.
