The PHP is the most intensive track, requiring clients to attend sessions at the Serenity Now facility between five and seven days a week, spending the night if necessary. A typical day consists of one-on-one sessions during which clients work on their specific goals, group sessions, psychoeducation and life skills training. Medication management services are also available.
Depending on the client’s individual needs, the types of treatments implemented during the therapy sessions vary. Typical treatment methods include Motivational Interviewing (MI), CBT, DBT and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Additionally, clients are expected to attend 12-step meetings on a weekly basis.
The staff at Serenity Now consists of psychiatrists, specialized therapists and medical staff.

In addition to their comprehensive drug substance abuse treatment program, Serenity Now also offers services for a range of mental health disorders and behavioral health. Specialized help for anger management, Major Depressive Disorder, generalized anxiety disorders, PTSD and co-dependency issues are available. Serenity Now also offers art and music therapy, yoga and meditation classes as well as trauma-focused counseling for those seeking alternative treatment methods.
