Safe House Wellness Retreat is a luxury rehab facility in New Delhi, India. Accommodations at Safe House break down into luxury and premium luxury categories—with space for up to 24 clients in total. In the luxury residences clients may either share their space up to four per cottage or have one all to themselves. Each of the cottages has Internet, Apple TV, a juicing station and personal chef.
Premium Luxury offers a colonial farmhouse in South Delhi that provides private bedrooms and en suite bathrooms and concierge amenities. Additionally, the facilities offer satellite TVs in every room, a library, game rooms with pool tables and outdoor badminton courts. There is also an office and conference rooms, as well as refrigerators in each bedroom, and endless coffee and tea for the clients.
Executive chefs prepare vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals and guests are encouraged to suggest menu favorites.
Treatment and Staff
Clients experience a full day of treatment that begins at 7:30 am and ends at around 9:30 pm. It includes psychoeducation, group and individual therapy and on-site 12-step meetings. Each client has a care team assigned to them at admission that consist of a psychiatrists, psychologists, case manager and medical doctor.
Therapeutic approaches include CBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Group therapy topics range from personal experiences with addiction, relapse prevention, aftercare planning and overall health and wellness. Clients address triggers and learn how to make healthy choices. There are also workbook and journaling assignments, mindfulness and meditation sessions and plenty of time for personal reflection.
Staff consists of consulting physicians, Master’s-level clinicians who specialize in addiction, a nutritionist who helps design the client menus, and a director of psychiatry.
Extras
There is a heated swimming pool on site and clients have daily exercise and yoga class in the gym. Additionally there are frequent excursions where clients get to hang out in the city or go on field trips to places like the local bird sanctuary. There are also transportation services to and from the international airport. Clients also have access to online sessions after they leave the facility.
