The Basics

Rose Hill Center of Holly, Michigan, is a behavioral health clinic that offers a variety of programs including, but not limited to, a residential rehabilitation program, a dual diagnosis treatment track and a transitional housing option. All of these programs are designed to help the client acclimate themselves into their communities with ease while teaching them valuable life and coping skills. Treatment employs evidence-based protocols along with the 12 steps and some holistic approaches. Rose Hill provides clients with a solid day to day structure along with an atmosphere that fosters personal growth.

Accommodations and Amenities

The transitional housing program offers clients a townhouse that is still adjacent to campus allowing clients to have a sense of autonomy yet still be in proximity to help if needed. This also permits independent living clients to have access to the workout area on the premises. The townhouses can accommodate up to 20 clients in all, who share bedrooms and common spaces, like living rooms, kitchens and dining rooms. Clients are allowed to have their own phones and computers. Due to the independent nature of this track, clients do grocery shop and make their own meals for themselves.

Rules and Regulations

The transitional living program has clients participating in up to 30 hours of treatment every week, with the focus being that each individual have “meaningful” daily activities. This can mean going to school, working or volunteering. There are activities that are regularly scheduled, frequent appointments with the staff doctor, regular group AA or NA meetings, and medical assistance available at any time.

In order to be accepted into the transitional living program clients must have recently graduated from an inpatient or residential track and need some continued support. Clients are responsible for all of their personal bills, have to plan and prepare their own meals, and maintain their residences.

A number of community support services are provided that can entail individual sessions, psychoeducation and individual therapy.

There are about 70 staff members on hand at Rose Hill Center all of whom have extensive experience. There are LPCs, LCSWs, medical doctors and psychiatric nurses, consulting psychologists, and a board certified psychiatrist.

Extras

There are counseling services offered to loved ones.
